  1. Have been following Grand Parade and Cinema Show for about 20 years and I’m very interested in future shows..please get me on any mailing lists re: prog rock stuff! Used to see shows at 602 North and even at Ye Old Town Inn (with Roey?) Is the Ethel Fest still happening? Keep me posted!! Thanks and hope to be at Sullivans’s on Mar. 1st! Debbie Marshall Was at the Ethel Fest w/Grand Parade, the ELP Tribute band and the King Crimson band..Was unbelievable!!

  2. Thanks for the kind words Debbie! Your support is very much appreciated! The Ethelfest show you are referring to (with Project Crimson, Fanfare and Grand Parade) took place in 2011, and was actually the last time Grand Parade ever played together. We all miss it very much and keep in touch with each other, but aligning the schedules of five busy people has been challenging. There’s been talk of getting something together in the not so distant future, but nothing concrete. Keep your fingers crossed…

Ethelfest was active in 2010, 2011 and 2012. They took a break last year, but hopefully it will be back again soon. keep an eye on http://www.ethelfest.com for any and all details.

This is Roey, so I can say with certainty that I never played Ye Olde Town Inn with GP, but I was there for the last couple of 602 North shows (a great venue, much missed).

I hope you manage to make it to the March 1 show. Much great music will be played. Get there early enough to catch the opener Sonus Umbra. It’s sort of a prog “super” group, with active or past members of various local bands including Fanfare, Grand Parade, Cinema, Silver Pipe and Might Could. Fanfare you already know, but we will be playing some things for the first time including Karn Evil 9 in its entirety!

    See you Saturday! – Roey
