Thank You!

The Midlothian show ended up taking place smack dab in the middle of a snow storm. We were wondering who would be crazy enough to venture out into the nastiness to catch the show. As it turns out, a good many of you were just crazy enough. You guys were AWESOME!

A fantastic turnout caught a great opening set from Sonus Umbra, followed by the first Fanfare show in over a year. Our first ever playing of the entire Karn Evil 9 suite was a highlight.

Thank you for supporting Chicago prog rock, and we hope everybody made it home safely. Stay warm, and stay tuned for more show announcements…

  1. Didn’t attend the show. Live in Indiana so unfortunately didn’t get to make it in the storm!

With that said I watched your videos and you guys are awesome. Please, please, please, do more shows! I’m twenty four and love me some prog, but no one plays this music anymore! Except you guys. Bless you all for playing some of the best compositions of the twentieth century. If your next show is anywhere in the Chicagoland area, I’ll be there, yes I’ll be there.

    1. Thanks Trevor. We look forward to seeing you. There is a show at Reggie’s in Chicago on June 26 (Thursday evening). Perhaps we can see you that evening. We’ll be featuring Trilogy, but you’ll get to see Karn Evil 9 in it’s entirety too (it’ll be hard to NOT play that now that we now it all!). There will be a Rush band after Fanfare performs, so it’ll be quite an evening!
